Spider-Man filming in Hammersmith and Fulham as major productions return to the borough
Hammersmith & Fulham Council says its filming unit “continues to be as busy as ever” with big names including Spider-Man being filmed in the borough. Netflix’s Black Doves and Apple’s Slow Horses are among the other films and shows being shot “on your doorstep,” it added. It’s one of several major film and television projects currently being shot in Hammersmith and Fulham.
Scenes from the next instalment in the Spider-Man franchise, Brand New Days have been filmed at Ravenscourt Park in Hammersmith as well as the nearby Royal Masonic Hospital, earlier this year. The film, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, is coming to cinemas in July.
The site of the former Hammersmith hospital featured in 2025’s Oscar-nominated F1 starring Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, while Rose’s Baby Starring Antonio Banderas shot scenes at Upper and Lower Mall, and Ravenscourt Place.
But it’s not just movies. Previous seasons of Apple’s spy show Slow Horses starring Gary Oldman have been filmed in the borough, with the production returning this year to shoot the upcoming new series. Locations include Askew Road in Shepherds Bush and Fitzjames Avenue in West Kensington.
Netflix’s Black Doves, starring Kiera Knightley, Ben Wishaw, and Sarah Lancashire, was filmed at Fulham Town Hall in 2024, and keep an eye out, when the second series returns in 2026, for scenes filmed at St Peter’s Square in Hammersmith.
ITV’s The Lady starring Natalie Dormer was filmed in Macbeth Street and St Peter’s Square, while Upper Mall by the river was featured in The Chelsea Detective starring Adrian Scarsborough.
