Children’s Literature Festival returning to Barnes in June

Barnes will once again be the “children’s book capital of the UK” as it will once again host the London Children’s Literature Festival on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th June. Over one hundred “fun family events, workshops, and performances” will be there for young book lovers.

National treasure, Michael Rosen, along with book-rapping sensation MC Grammar, will join million-selling author illustrator of the Tom Gates series, Liz Pichon, ‘Horrible’ historian Greg Jenner, legendary artist behind the Gruffalo, Alex Scheffler. Look out also for the “superstar” creator of Charlie and Lola, Lauren Child, and draw long genius Rob Biddulph, as just a few of the big names heading to the Children’s Literature Festival in Barnes.
