BBQs not permitted in Richmond parks
With the warm weather here, Richmond council is reminding residents that BBQs are not permitted in any of its parks and open spaces. This is in line with Article 6 of the council’s Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs).
“During this time,” the council said in a press release, “we really hope you’ll visit one of the many beautiful parks and open spaces we have around the borough, but please do enjoy them safely and responsibly. If provided bins are full, take your litter home with you. If a park bin is full, use the QR code on the top of the bin to report this as full to our cleansing team.”
If you are not a Richmond resident, check your local borough to find out its policy on BBQs.
You can also report it on the website or via the free My Richmond App.
