Richmond May Fair returns next month

The historic Richmond May Fair will be returning on Richmond Green on Saturday 9th May between 10am and 5pm, the council has confirmed.

Old favourites of the event, such as the vintage funfair as well as the dog show will be making a return. Joining them will be more than two hundred stalls. These include the craft marquee as well as a variety of food and drink stalls. Local music bands, schools, and a number of performance groups will all be present at the Richmond May Fair to provide free entertainment throughout the day on the Riverside Radio stage.

Charities and artisans, local businesses and schools, will all be represented at the event. This year’s Richmond May Fair promises to be a showcase for everything the borough of Richmond upon Thames has to offer.

The event, according to the council, plays an important role in helping local charities in the borough promote the work they do and raise the much-needed funds that allow them to continue to provide to the community and beyond.

Visit the May Fair website for more information and to see all the fun. If you would love to help volunteer, please sign-up for a slot. Local dog owners can pre-register for dog show.
