Sightings in the West End: Rachel Zegler’s Hyde Park Romance with Dancer Nathan Louis‑Fernand

When Rachel Zegler arrived in London’s West End the talking point became more than just her lead role in Evita. The actress and singer was recently spotted enjoying a night out with Nathan Louis‑Fernand, the talented backup dancer from the same show, as they watched Sabrina Carpenter perform in Hyde Park on Sunday, 6 July.

Photos from that evening show the pair strolling hand in hand, with one especially intimate shot catching a kiss mid-concert. Rachel Zegler, 24, looked relaxed in a black leather jacket, while Louis‑Fernand opted for a navy jacket, light-wash jeans and a baseball cap, clearly a cosy, low-key outing for the pair.

Louis‑Fernand himself is no newcomer to London’s performance scene. His resume includes Magic Mike Live, and stage credits in Hamilton, & Juliet and The Lion King, according to his Instagram page.

This new connection follows Zegler’s high-profile relationship with actor Josh Andrés Rivera, whom she starred alongside in 2023’s The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. The couple first went public back in February 2021, sharing affectionate posts and public support, her Instagram Stories still featured tributes to Rivera as recently as September 2024.

On the Evita front, Zegler has been chipper about making her West End debut in the celebrated Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber musical. In a statement to Deadline, she recalled singing “Don’t Cry for Me Argentina” with her father as a child and expressed excitement to work with director Jamie Lloyd. Tickets, which are on sale through 6 September at evitathemusical.com, are already drawing enthusiastic crowds.

This glimpse into Zegler’s personal life offers fans a more human, relatable side to the rising star. Being seen together with a dance colleague rather than on a red carpet captures the down-to-earth atmosphere of dating in a new city and adjusting to life amid a blockbuster run.
