New Late-Night Venue Brings an East London Edge to Kensington’s Club Scene
London’s nightlife is about to get a shake-up as a brand-new late-night venue prepares to open its doors in Kensington High Street. With a promise to redefine West London’s club scene, the team behind B Club, the revival of the legendary Boujis, is launching Gallery, an underground-style dance club designed to bring a fresh, raw energy to the area.
Gallery will be a 400-capacity venue featuring a state-of-the-art sound system and a striking 360-degree DJ booth, offering a clubbing experience more reminiscent of Shoreditch than South Kensington. The venue aims to blend high-end West London style with a grittier, underground feel, setting the stage for artistic performances and a bold new music programme.
One of the most intriguing features of Gallery is its hidden spaces. Alongside a Neapolitan pizzeria, where partygoers can grab a late-night slice, and a Cuban-inspired bar, the club boasts a secret studio room—only accessible to those who “discover it”. Details remain under wraps, but it’s designed to offer a more intimate, exclusive experience for those seeking something beyond the main dance floor.
Creative Director and co-owner Barth Rougier has high hopes for Gallery’s impact on West London’s nightlife. “Our mission is to rejuvenate the music culture here and bring some of that underground inspiration into this space,” he says. “We refuse to let London’s nightlife fade—we’re all in.”
West London has long been known for its exclusive members’ clubs and sleek cocktail bars, but with the closure of several big-name nightclubs, the area has been crying out for a venue that brings fresh energy to the scene. Gallery’s arrival could be just what the city’s late-night crowd needs, offering an alternative to the well-trodden paths of Soho and East London.
The doors open on Kensington High Street on 27th March, with the club running Wednesday to Saturday each week. Whether you’re the type to suit up for a South Ken soirée or embrace the retro football shirt and thrifted trainer aesthetic, Gallery is set to be a new go-to for London’s night owls.
