Free fitness & wellbeing sessions this International Women’s Day

Richmond upon Thames invites you to take part in a variety of free fitness and wellbeing activities, as well as some of the other physical activity events this International Women’s Day to mark the day “with movement and community spirit.”

From emerging fitness classes and introductory sport session to relaxed wellbeing events, “this is your chance to move and connect in a welcoming environment,” Richmond upon Thames says.

On Sunday 8th March, a range of activities will be taking place across the borough. Hampton Sport and Fitness centre will host free fitness assessments. There will Women’s boxing classes at Shene Sports and Fitness Centre. Open tennis mornings will be held at Teddington Sports Centre. Aqua-fit class, Les Mills Body Balance class, and Women’s focused spinning class are available at Teddington Pools and Fitness Centre. And community walk and pelvic floor talk will be available at Stable & Strong Women’s Fitness Studio in Mortlake.
