West End Live is set to return to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 20 & Sunday 21 June, promising a “packed line-up of top West End shows” that are yet to be announced. The “Glastonbury for theatre lovers” is the largest free musical theatre festival in Europe, showcasing performances from over 50 London musicals every year.

Tens of thousands of theatre fans are expected to make their way to London for the unique event, with audiences of all ages coming into the heart of the city to celebrate the best that West End theatre has to offer.

For the first time in the history of West End Live, 100 queue jump places are up for grabs every day through an online competition. Every lucky winner will be able to access West End Live through a separate entrance, with one lucky winner having a chance to go back stage and see the event from behind the curtain, as well as a chance to receive a £50 merchandise voucher and £200 in Theatre Tokens redeemable on OfficialLondonTheatre.com or at the Official London Theatre Ticket Booth in Leicester Square. To enter, you must complete an online form at OfficialLondonTheatre.com.

West End Live says it is “committed to delivering the event in a way that is environmentally responsible.” Last year, the festival “pioneered” a large-scale battery-powered production model in Trafalgar Square, “significantly reducing carbon emissions while maintaining the high-energy performances and technical excellence audiences expect.” That year’s event also saw a 90% reduction in the use of single-use plastics throughout the site.
