Brunel Happy Hub opened to help residents in Westbourne Park

Westminster has opened Brunel Happy Hub as an “exciting new community space at the heart of the Brunel Estate” in Westbourne Park. The hub is designed to offer a “welcoming and inclusive environment where residents of all ages can connect, learn, create, and thrive.”

Brunel Happy Hub is part of Westminster’s ambitious Community Hubs Programme, aiming to bring “vital support and opportunities closer to residents” throughout the borough. It has already delivered Victoria and Charing Cross Library mini-hubs in 2024, The Exchange at Ernest Harriss House in April 2025, and Lilestone Street Community Hub in November 2025.

The latest Community Hub has been developed by a year and a half of “extensive engagement” with the local community. This includes street conversations, door-knocking, and co-design workshops that involved hundreds of residents. “Their ideas and insights have been central to the design of the hub and the services it will offer,” Westminster says.

Brunel Happy Hub features a place to drop in for “support and community,” a community café, advice and support from Westminster services, Citizens Advice, and local health checks, free and low-cost adult activities such as gardening, cooking, sewing, arts and crafts, exercise sessions, games, and social clubs, family and children’s activities including after-school and holiday clubs, toddler groups, SEN support, and cultural sessions, youth programmes offering coding, gaming, media, sports, skills development, and employment opportunities, and affordable spaces for hire for community groups, classes, and events.

Its opening hours are between 8am and 9pm on weekdays and from 10am to 9pm on weekends, and is located at Brunel Estate, Westbourne Park Road.
