Pop-up health hubs coming to Kensington & Chelsea in February

In February, the NHS will host a series of pop-up sessions where appointments are not required. These “health hubs” will operate from 10am to 4pm and will provide various services, including vaccinations.

If you or your children are not up to date with the MMR immunisation, you will be able to be given the jab at these health hubs. Measles spreads easily and anyone who is not vaccinated can be at risk of catching it. There has been an increase in measles cases throughout the country and in other parts of the world, a worrying statistic as measles can have severe and even sometimes fatal consequences.

However, there will be many more services on offer at the health hubs. The pop-up gives you the chance to have other health checkups. There you can find out about your blood pressure, your blood sugar levels, or your BMI. You can also receive information about smoking and alcohol cessation advice as well as immunisations, general health and wellbeing information at the pop-up health hubs.

The pop-ups are usually open 10am to 4pm and in the following places at the following dates.

Wednesday 14 February – Brompton Library, Old Brompton Road, SW5 0BS

Tuesday 20 February – St Luke’s Church, Royal Hospital Road, SW3 4SR

Monday 26 February – Brompton Library, Old Brompton Road, SW5 0BS
