HIV testing drop-in session in Richmond
Protect your health on Tuesday 10th February with Richmond upon Thames’ free HIV testing drop-in sessions. There, you can learn about sexual health, receive support, and “feel confident looking after your wellbeing,” the council says.
To mark HIV Testing Week, the borough’s sexual health outreach providers, Kunaska and Spectra are providing free testing for HIV and will also be giving out information about sexual health.
The free drop-in event will be at Whitton Library, 141 Nelson Road, Whitton, TW2 7BB, on Tuesday 10th February between 3 and 5pm. You also have the option to order a testing kit for HIV at Free Testing HIV or at Sexual Health London, if you are either under the age of 16 or have symptoms, visit your nearest sexual health clinic for a test.
HIV may not always show symptoms and can affect anyone. The only way to be sure is to be tested, and doing so helps keep your own and communities’ health safe.
If you would like more information about HIV prevention or are interested in support if either you or someone you know is living with HIV, contact Richmond’s sexual health provider Spectra at HIV Prevention and Support.
