Boris Johnson has revealed a new holiday look, a full beard, while on a family break in Greece. The former prime minister appeared in photos posted by his wife, Carrie, from what she called the family’s “favourite place”. The pictures, shared on Carrie Johnson’s Instagram, show Mr Johnson playing with daughter Romy and swapping suits for a dark blue T-shirt and fish-print swimming trunks.

Further shots capture the family eating out and their three eldest children playing on the beach, while baby Poppy, born on 21 May, is seen in a carrier. In an earlier post, Carrie joked that Poppy was the “final gang member”, with Wilf, Romy and Frank “utterly delighted” by the new arrival. The relaxed pictures contrast with the pace of Mr Johnson’s years in office, which ended in September 2022.
