Unidentified drones detected in Denmark & Norway

On the evening of Monday 22nd September, ‘unidentified drones’ were detected in Norway and Denmark. In the Norwegian capital, people have been arrested, while in Copenhagen, its airport was closed, according to Reuters and Aftonbladet.
The first reports of unidentified drones came from Denmark, with police stating that all movements at the airport had been halted following their discovery. Copenhagen Airport “is currently closed for take-off and landing, as 2-3 large drones have been seen flying in the area,” said a police statement. “The time horizon is currently unknown.”
Flightradar showed that all take-offs and landings at the airport were suspended at 20:26 local time, with over a dozen flights diverted to other airports. A representative from the airport told Reuters that all traffic had stopped, declining to give further comment.
Shortly after, around 21:00, Aftonbladet in Norway reported a similar incident, with an alarm sounding following drones over a military area, the Akershus fortress in Oslo. Eivind Hammersvold, the head of operations, said that it was the military that detected them. Two people from Singapore have been detained in connection with the incident.
On the night of 10th September, following a massive attack from Russia on Ukraine, around 20 drones were reported to have entered Polish territory. The country responded by scrambling its aircraft, shooting down the hostile objects. On 13th August, Russia had attempted an attack on Ukraine by employing the use of drones. One entered Romanian territory where it flew for around 50 minutes.
Following these incidents, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky suggested that Poland and Romania shoot down any Russian drones above Ukrainian airspace.
