Renault announces sale of historic vehicles

Renault has announced a sale of an “exceptional collection” of historic vehicles and more. The items will all be bought together in 2027 in a new exhibition centre in Flins-sur-Seine near Paris. The unique venue will “bring Renault’s heritage to life for the first time and allow the public to explore the brand’s 125-year history,” the French car maker said.

As part of the project, Renault will create a “spectacular showcase” grouping the collection in one place, the company will reorganise the collection of historic vehicles to keep 600 “iconic and unique” models built since 1898. The brand will sell off a number of vehicles owned in several examples (two or three), ensuring that it still retains at least one of each model in its 125-year history.
