Cambridge Gardens tennis courts reopen
Following refurbishment, the Cambridge Gardens tennis courts are open again to welcome players. You can book your slot online.
“The reopening of the Cambridge Gardens tennis courts marks an exciting milestone,” Councillor Alan Juriansz, Vice-Chair, Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee and Lead Member for Sport, said. “It concludes our successful eight year programme to refurbish all eleven of our tennis court sites across the borough. Investment in community facilities is one of the priorities in our Leisure Strategy, which aims to help residents of all ages build healthy, lifelong habits. I encourage everyone to get active and make full use of these improved courts.”
Located near Richmond Bridge, the Cambridge Gardens tennis courts are home to four tennis courts that are available for any residents of the borough to use. Like all of Richmond upon Thames’ sites, they are supported by coaching providers who are able to deliver a wide range of coaching and playing opportunities throughout the year.
With the summer just around the corner, there is no better time to pick up your racquet and have a game of tennis.
