Youth Late at the National Portrait Gallery

Get ready for an unforgettable night as the National Portrait Gallery is set to host its next Youth Late event, curated and hosted by its Young Producers. This exciting evening will take place after dark and is inspired by the gallery’s current exhibition, Six Lives: The Stories of Henry VIII’s Queens, as well as its partnership with the hit show SIX the Musical. It’s a perfect match that promises a night full of fun, creativity, and history.

Youth Late will be packed with live performances, music, workshops, and engaging talks that bring the stories of Henry VIII’s queens to life in a fresh and exciting way. Attendees can also participate in “herstory” tours, explore fashion inspired by the era, and enjoy activities themed around the number six. Dressing up as your favourite queen is highly encouraged, with prizes awarded to the best-dressed guests.

Everything at the event is completely free, including entrance to the exhibition, refreshments, and snacks. This is an incredible opportunity to experience history, culture, and art in a vibrant and youthful atmosphere.

The talented Young Producers have planned an incredible lineup of activities for the evening, and there are still a few surprises to be announced. Keep an eye out for more exciting details in the days leading up to the event.

This event is exclusively for young people aged 18-25, and tickets are required for entry. Don’t miss out on this unique experience – book your free ticket now!

Young Producers x NPG is a youth-led program for creatives aged 18-21, selected through an open call to develop their skills in cultural events planning and production. They have been working with the gallery to bring you this and other Youth Lates events.
