Who’s Playing at Glastonbury 2025? Full Line-Up and Times Announced
With just a few weeks to go, Glastonbury Festival 2025 has released its full line-up and stage times, and there’s plenty for UK festivalgoers to get excited about. The Pyramid Stage will be headlined by The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo, offering a blend of nostalgic energy, transatlantic influence, and Gen Z firepower that speaks to just how broad this year’s crowd will be.
The full Glastonbury 2025 lineup and times confirm what many had suspected: the festival’s pulse remains firmly on both legacy acts and fresh talent. Olivia Rodrigo will close the Pyramid Stage on Sunday night, just hours after Rod Stewart returns for the coveted Sunday Legends slot. Meanwhile, Neil Young is set to headline Saturday night with The Chrome Hearts, and The 1975 will take over Friday with their first Glasto headline performance, cementing their move from indie darlings to main-stage royalty.
Among the most talked-about additions is Irish rap trio Kneecap, still on the line-up after controversy elsewhere. They’ll take to the West Holts Stage on Saturday afternoon. There’s also mystery in the mix: a band called Patchwork appears on Saturday’s Pyramid billing, a possible nod to the secret Foo Fighters set in 2023 when they performed as The ChurnUps.
Festival traditions remain intact. Glastonbury kicks off on Wednesday 25th June with two opening ceremonies, including an acrobat-filled theatre and circus show in the Pyramid field, followed by a fireworks display at 22:45. In parallel, a thousand-person choir will sing around the Flame of Hope, in what’s being described as a unifying “mantra for peace.” Whether you’re camping at Worthy Farm or catching it all from your sofa, the whole weekend will again be streamed and broadcast in full across BBC TV, radio, iPlayer and BBC Sounds.
As ever, secret sets and surprise performances are expected, with whispers ranging from Pulp and Haim to the more unlikely Lady Gaga and Radiohead. And if you’re looking to plan your movements carefully, it’s worth checking out the full schedule in advance, spanning the Pyramid, Other, Park, West Holts, Woodsies, Avalon, Arcadia, Levels, Acoustic, and Leftfield stages.
From Charli XCX to Wolf Alice, Nile Rodgers to Snow Patrol, Doechii to Djo, the festival spans generations, genres, and late-night energy. It’s no longer just about music either, Leftfield’s schedule includes political panels, radical round-ups and talks on everything from feminism in the manosphere to climate justice.
For those heading to Somerset, the full list of artists, timings, and stages is a must-read. For those staying home, the real challenge will be choosing what to stream live and what to catch on replay. Whether you’re into legendary guitar solos or genre-bending electronic sets, Glastonbury 2025 is shaping up to be another cultural bookmark in the UK’s festival history.
