Mobilize “reinvents urban mobility” with bold and simple design

As cities face the daily challenge of efficiently moving people and goods, Mobilize, part of Renault, has revealed one innovative solutions that prioritize simplicity, safety, and sustainability. Introducing Duo and Bento, two electric quadricycles designed specifically for urban environments, as well as areas with limited public transport options.

Targeted at both retail and business customers, the Mobilize Duo is a versatile two-seater that can be driven with or without a license, depending on local regulations. Its counterpart, Bento, is a compact micro van that requires a driving license and features a spacious 649-litre cargo box designed for transporting small items and equipment.

With dimensions of just 2.43 and 2.54 meters in length, respectively, Duo and Bento are exceptionally easy to maneuver in bustling city traffic. Their compact size not only makes them agile but also simplifies parking in crowded urban areas.

Both vehicles promise a unique driving experience thanks to their central driving position and optimized suspension. Safety is paramount; they come equipped with a driver airbag, marking a first in the quadricycle segment. Duo boasts an impressive range of up to 161 km, while Bento offers 149 km, reducing the need for frequent recharging.

In terms of design, Duo and Bento break away from traditional automotive aesthetics. With their expansive glazed areas and distinctive elytra doors, they resemble futuristic space capsules. Eco-friendliness is also a priority, with over 40% of each vehicle made from recycled materials, and both are 95% recyclable at the end of their life cycle.

Connectivity is another standout feature, as Duo and Bento come with the ‘MyDuo’ mobile app, allowing users to generate up to six digital keys—an industry first for the Renault Group.

Unveiled in their final designs at the Paris Motor Show, Duo and Bento will be available for order through the Renault network, starting 14th October, 2024. These vehicles are poised to transform urban mobility, making it more efficient, eco-friendly, and accessible.
