F80 and Amalfi among Ferrari debuts at Goodwood

Ferrari has “delivered its most extensive presence to date” at the Goodwood Festival of speed with four debuts, including the all-new Amalfi and limited production F80. The Prancing horse celebrates 75 years of its F1 heritage with a “striking” lineup.

The Amalfi made its public debut at the event. The new Grand Tourer boast a front-mid-mounted twin-turbo V8 with over 600 horsepower, and promising everyday usability, and sculptural styling, according to the manufacturer. Inside, the Amalfi comes with the marque’s brand new infotainment system, and the return of the company’s iconic Engine Start/Stop button.

Joining it was the 296 Speciale. This is a lightweight special-series evolution of the 296 GTB with a twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor to produce over 800 horsepower. Improved aerodynamics, reduced weight, and track-focused dynamics should make it incredible to drive.

The Ferrari F80, the company’s latest limited-edition supercar was first shown to the world in October 2024 and has now made its UK debut at Goodwood. Its hybrid V6 powertrain derived from the 499P Le Mans Hypercar provides over 1000 horsepower, while its aerodynamic body generates over a tonne of downforce at 155mph.

Finally, the 12Cilindri also made its UK debut. With a naturally aspirated V12 and over 800 horsepower on tap, the front-engined two-seater is the latest in a long line of Ferrari grand tourers stretching back to the 250 and Daytona.

Along with the new models included some of Ferrari’s heritage, an F50 being among them. But Scuderia Ferrari also brought two modern F1 cars, the SF90 from 2019 and SF21 from 2021 to show its latest technological advances. Joining them were a selection of historic racers including the 312T, 640, and F2007.
