Cullinan Cosmos, one-off commission revealed by Rolls Royce
Rolls Royce has revealed the Cullinan Cosmos, a one-of-one commission that, according to the company, “celebrates the drama of outer space.” The car was commissioned by a family who “shares a fascination for the universe with their four-year-old son, with the theme brought to life through a constellation of Bespoke details.
Its centrepiece is a first for Rolls-Royce, a hand painted Starlight Headliner “painstakingly” developed by one of its in-house artists for over 160 hours.
The Cullinan Cosmos is finished in “shimmering” Arabescato Pearl, with the exterior completed with a hand-painted coachline in Charles blue. The illuminated “Spirit of Ecstasy” glows “like a distant star by night.”
Inside, the car is “inspired by the stillness and wonder of deep space,” with the seats finished in Charles Blue and Grace white, while Piano White veneers complete the cabin. The commissioning clients worked with the company’s designers to create the unique Star Cluster motif, appearing as a bespoke embroidery on the door panels, headrests, and a hand-painted artwork on the front passenger fascia.
The Cullinan Cosmos was commissioned via Private Office Dubai, one of its international Private Offices created to “bring the full capabilities of the Bespoke Collective closer to the brand’s most visionary clients.”
