CALLUM unveils ultimate Jaguar C-X75 commission
CALLUM has completed its second bespoke commission of the iconic Jaguar C-X75, marking a significant enhancement of this revered supercar. Following its earlier transformation of one of the four stunt cars from the James Bond film Spectre, this latest project reflects an unparalleled attention to detail and a commitment to realising the car’s full potential.
Collaborating closely with the C-X75’s owner, CALLUM integrated various customised features into the vehicle, exceeding the modifications typically required for Individual Vehicle Approval (IVA) certification. This reimagined C-X75 boasts a reengineered drivetrain, active aerodynamics, and an elegant interior that elevates the driving experience.
Ian Callum, who led the original design team for the C-X75 in 2010, remarked, “C-X75 was ‘the one that got away’ – a car brimming with unfulfilled potential. We’ve merged the customer’s desires with carefully engineered solutions, bringing this car to the satisfying conclusion it always deserved.”
The supercharged V8 engine now pairs with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, providing both usability and exhilarating performance. CALLUM’s proprietary software allows the car to switch between a refined road mode and a more dynamic sporting setup, ensuring sharp gear shifts and immediate throttle response. An advanced active aero package further enhances stability and handling at speed, while a hydraulic front lift suspension makes urban driving easier.
Aesthetically, the C-X75 has undergone a remarkable transformation. Over 1,000 hours were dedicated to refining the bodywork, achieving flawless panel alignment and a striking Willow Green finish, inspired by the gentle hues of willow leaves. Distinctive details, such as brushed aluminium window surrounds and carbon fibre accents, add to the car’s visual impact.
Inside, the cockpit has been redefined to provide a premium, driver-focused environment, featuring a sophisticated mix of dark green and cream tones. The interior incorporates tactile rotary controls with integrated touchscreens, a wireless charging pad, and a bespoke sound system, all designed to enhance user experience.
