The Bush Comedy Festival Returns to Hammersmith & Fulham This July
Hammersmith & Fulham is set to welcome back the much-anticipated Bush Comedy Festival, running from Wednesday, 17th July to Saturday, 20th July. The festival is presented by the award-winning production company Berk’s Nest, with financial support from Hammersmith & Fulham Council. This year’s venues include Bush Hall, Bush Theatre, and Next Door Records.
Star-Studded Opening Gala
The festival will begin on 17th July with an Opening Gala at Bush Hall, headlined by Edinburgh Comedy Award winner and Netflix star Catherine Cohen. She will be joined by a stellar lineup including Taskmaster New Zealand’s Two Hearts and Live at the Apollo’s Celya AB, promising a night full of laughter and surprises.

The festival boasts an impressive roster of comedy heavyweights throughout its run. Notable performances include:
- Simon Amstell on 18th July at Bush Hall
- Sarah Pascoe on 19th July at Bush Hall
- Sophie Duker on 18th July at Bush Theatre
- Matt Forde on 20th July at Bush Theatre
- Grace Campbell on 19th July at Bush Hall
- Morgan Rees on 20th July at Bush Hall

Family-Friendly Entertainment
In addition to performances for adults, the festival also offers family-friendly entertainment. On 18th July, “Kiell Smith-Bynoe & Friends: Kool Story Bro” will take place at Bush Hall. This improvised comedy show, led by the star of Taskmaster, Ghosts, and Stath Lets Flats, features scenes inspired by the audience. Previous guests have included Jamie Demetriou, Munya Chawawa, Charlotte Ritchie, and Guz Khan.
For the younger audience, Comedy Club 4 Kids will be performing on 20th July at Bush Hall. This show features top stand-ups, cabaret, and sketch acts tailored for children aged 6 and above, delivering a full comedy club experience sans the adult content.
