Wandsworth Wellness Weekender brings free family-friendly activities this March

The Wandsworth Wellness Weekender will be a weekend packed with free activities to get families moving across the borough. Dive into family swim, discover a new sport, or take part in a group fitness class – this is the perfect opportunity to try new activities, meet other local families, and embrace a healthier lifestyle.
These free activities as part of the borough’s Wandsworth Moves Together leisure strategy. It is part of the council’s “bold action to help more” residents “get active every day.”
Wandsworth is also encouraging more people to take advantage of its “ambitious” Access for All scheme. Eligible residents can enjoy many of Wandsworth’s leisure spaces for free or at a discount.
“The Wandsworth Wellness Weekender is all about encouraging more families to get active,” Judi Gasser, Cabinet Member for Environment, said. “There are lots of ways residents can move more in our fantastic leisure centres and parks, and we’re proud to be making these spaces available to more people through our Wandsworth Moves Together strategy. Please gather your friends and family and sign up for as many sessions as you can. We look forward to seeing you there!”
Throughout the weekend, you’ll find a wide range of free activities designed to keep you active, engaged, and having fun. Some of the highlights include:
