Florian Wirtz played a crucial role in Bayer Leverkusen’s historic Bundesliga win under Xabi Alonso. It’s no wonder the German midfielder is attracting interest and top English clubs will no doubt want to sign him in the transfer window. Manchester City has already spoken with him and his family reports say. A verbal agreement is said to have been reached, but Liverpool are also in the running to sign him.

Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap is likely to head to Stamford Bridge as Chelsea close in on a deal to sign him. Delap has already played under Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca at Manchester City’s academy and will likely want to reunite with the forward. But he could head to the red side of Manchester as United also expressed interest.

And Brighton’s João Pedro is seeing interest from three top clubs with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool all showing interest. The Brazilian has been a prolific goal scorer for the Seagulls who have already seen Argentinian World Cup winner, Alexis MacAllister, make the move to Anfield.

The summer transfer window opens in June and with the expanded 2025 Club World Cup around the corner, top clubs will no doubt want to strengthen their sides to have a chance at the trophy.
