Repair Café offering free repairs on 17th May

On Saturday, 17th May, local group, the Twickenham Repair Café will be offering free repairs at St Margarets Church Hall. All residents are invited to attend and bring broken items for repair including clocks, coffee machines, bikes, and even garden shears.

The Twickenham Repair Café is a non-profit community interest company that aims to promote sustainable living by providing free repair services. Since it started, it has completed over 2,000 repairs, saving tonnes of waste in the process.
Residents, community groups, and children are encouraged to apply for the Council’s climate action microgrant programme to support community-driven initiatives around climate change and sustainability. Grants are available every other month in the year.
