Manchester United look at Napoli star, and other transfer news

Napoli star, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, is likely to leave the Italian side who currently sit at top of the Serie A league. The Georgian has been linked with a move to Manchester United this summer unless he signs a new contract with his club, the BBC reported..

Kvaratskhelia starred with Nigerian Victor Osimhen, who now plays in Turkey, as they helped Napoli win the Scudetto for the first time in decades.

New Manchester United manager Ruben Amorin sent scouts to watch 17-year-old Portugal U21 winter Geovany Quenda, as well as Sweden striker Viktor Gyokeres, and Portuguese winger Pedro Goncalves who starred for Sporting against Arsenal in the Champion’s League.

The club is also looking at bringing other players into the Premier League. The red devils are looking for a left-back and Bayern Munich and Canada defender Alphonso Davis, along with France and AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez are among the options being considered. Joshua Zirkzee might be sold by United only six months after the club signed him. The Dutch striker may be heading to Italy as Juventus have expressed interest in signing him.

Manchester United are also looking at Denmark’s Under-18 forward Chido Obi-Martin when he turns 17 at the end of the month. A senior contract is likely on the cards.

After his brief stint as interim manager for United, Ruud van Nistelrooy is reportedly favoured to take over for Leicester City as their manager.

Meanwhile, in other transfer news, Real Madrid are looking for a new right-back and Tottenham’s Pedro Porro might be one of their options. Los Blancos have struggled this year despite signing Kylian Mbappe from PSG.

Brighton have made Ireland striker Evan Ferguson available for loan in January.

Italy international and Atalanta striker Mateo Retegui has been linked to Arsenal. The Argentina born player is reportedly valued at £38 million.

England’s Under-19 midfielder Ethan Nwaneri is in talks with Arsenal. The 17-year old may be offered a new long-term contract according to Fabrizio Romano.

Finally, Chelsea will likely sign 15-year-old England Under-16s midfielder Mathis Eboue, son of former Arsenal and Ivory Coast international Emmanuel Eboue.
