Over the weekend of 21st–22nd June, borough‑wide drop‑in sessions spotlight local eco‑initiatives. Then, on Monday 23rd June, a free South Kensington biodiversity walk (5–6 pm) reveals how museums like the Royal Geographical Society and hidden green refuges in the area are supporting biodiversity. Tuesday’s highlight is a Riverside and Chelsea Physic Garden tour (10 am–12 pm), mapping the borough’s historic connection to the Thames. Later, drop into the Design Museum garden (2–4.30 pm) to learn about pollinator habitats and sustainable design, no booking required.
Midweek, on Wednesday 25th June, watch Six Inches of Soil at Kensington Central Library (6.30–8.30 pm), followed by a panel on sustainable agriculture.
