Richmond in Europe Association to host musical concert
On Sunday, 7th April, the Richmond in Europe Association will host a musical soiree with musicians of the Royal Academy of Music in support of the Mayor of Richmond’s charities.
Taking place at St Mary’s Church in Twickenham, the international ensemble of Regina Gössel, Clara Orif and Milette Gillow will be accompanied by pianist Jack Redman as they perform songs and arias that reflect “the power of music to bring communities together.”
Tickets cost £15 for adults while those aged 18 or under can get in for free. Refreshments will be available during the interval. The programme will include English as well as French and German works, reflecting Richmond’s international partnership with Fontainebleau & Konstanz.
On Saturday, 6th April, St Mary’s Church will also another musical event, Sci-fi Classics performed by Richmond Light Orchestra. Head over for an evening celebrating the best science fiction TV and movie soundtracks. This will feature music from Doctor Who, Back to the Future, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, Star Wars, The X Files, Flash Gordon, ET, War of the Worlds, Thunderbirds, and so much more.
