Goodwood has unveiled the exciting race list for the 2025 Goodwood Revival, promising another thrilling weekend of historic motorsport. Building on the success of the 2024 Revival, which made history as the world’s first historic motorsport event to run entirely on sustainable fuel, the 2025 event will continue this eco-friendly initiative. All competitors will be required to use fuel with a minimum of 70% advanced sustainable components, as seen at the 82nd Members’ Meeting.
The 2025 Revival will feature 15 action-packed races across 13 grids, bringing together a stunning variety of cars from motorsport’s golden eras. Highlights include:
- Freddie March Memorial Trophy: A 60-minute race paying homage to the 1950s Goodwood Nine Hour races, with Jaguar C-Types, Aston Martin DB3S’ and Allard J2Xs taking centre stage.
- Sussex Trophy: A race for World Championship sportscars from 1955-1960, including iconic models like the Jaguar D-Type and Lister-Jaguar Knobbly.
- Madgwick Cup: Featuring sports racing cars under 3-litres from 1960-1966, including the Lotus 23B and Elva Mk7.
- Goodwood Trophy: A thrilling race for Grand Prix and Voiturette cars from the 1930s and 1940s, with ERAs and Maserati 6CMs in action.
- Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy: A tribute to 500cc Grand Prix motorcycles, with Norton Manx and Matchless G50s competing in two races across the weekend.
- Stirling Moss Memorial Trophy: A 45-minute race for closed-cockpit GT cars that raced before 1963, including Jaguar E-Types and Ferrari 250SWBs.
Other exciting races include the Whitsun Trophy, the fastest race of the weekend for 1960s sports-racing prototypes, and the Fordwater Trophy, featuring 1960s sports and GT cars running on sustainable fuel.
Also returning is the Royal Automobile Club TT Celebration, a 60-minute race for iconic GT cars, and the Glover Trophy, a contest for 1960s Grand Prix cars like the Lotus 25 and BRM P261.
The full timetable and entry list will be released closer to the event, but the 2025 Goodwood Revival promises to be another unmissable weekend of motorsport history.
