Maserati Bids Farewell to the Quattroporte V8
On 31st July, Maserati celebrated a significant milestone in Stresa by delivering two custom vehicles to a U.S. customer, marking the end of the Quattroporte V8 era. The highlight was the Quattroporte Grand Finale, the last model to feature Maserati’s legendary V8 engine, symbolising the end of an iconic chapter.
This final Quattroporte, dressed in Blu Nobile and featuring a carbon fibre body kit, showcases Maserati’s luxury craftsmanship. It is powered by a 572-horsepower V8 engine and is uniquely marked with the identification number 999999. The interior reflects meticulous Italian artisanship, with burl wood accents, tan leather door panels, and a special ‘Grand Finale’ badge, emphasising its status as a unique collector’s item.
Accompanying the Grand Finale was the MC20 Iris, a vivid testament to Maserati’s bespoke Fuoriserie program. This super sports car features an AI Aqua Rainbow exterior, reflecting the customer’s preference for vibrant, personalised designs.
Both cars were crafted as part of the Maserati Fuoriserie customisation program, allowing the customer to participate in the creation process of these unique vehicles. This bespoke approach Maserati says, underscores its commitment to creating personalised, one-of-a-kind “masterpieces” that honour the brand’s heritage while pushing the boundaries of luxury and performance.
