Fun in the Sun festival comes to North End Road

H&F’s annual summer market, Fun in the Sun, is making a return to Fulham for a day of family fun. The borough holds seasonal markets in North End Road to help support local businesses, traders and high streets, hoping to make H&F the best place to live, work and socialise.
Taking place along North End Road, Saturday 12th July, 10am to 6pm, Fun in the Sun will host more than 150 stalls. Traders include H&F’s historic market sellers, Immy London Batiks, Chatty Cats Care and family owned and operated Modern Classic Tattoo. And for the visiting foodies, pop by stalls from Karen’s Cake House, Top Tapas and Crazy for Pasta.
Keeping the vibes high, catch performances from Whitney Houston Tribute act, Levena Lee Johnson. Ska Sonic will also be there, sharing their reggae sound, as well as string ensemble ZHL, and soul and funk sets from DJ Boots and DJ Piper.
The entertainment doesn’t stop there. While browsing, don’t forget to see if you can spot one of the two human lampshades. They’ll either be hidden motionless in the crowd or dancing the day away. Also visiting the historic road, two giant chefs, a pair of massive Emperor penguins dressed to impress in tropical shirts and leis necklaces, and the bouncing B-Boys with their enormous shoes and boombox.
