French startups collaborate with Renault for new 4 E-Tech

Renault is gearing up for the launch of its 4 E-Tech electric car, set to hit the market in 2025. To generate excitement and momentum leading up to the release, the brand has partnered with several French start-ups through a new initiative called “4 movements.” This alliance showcases innovative e-mobility solutions across various modes of transport.

The “4 movements” initiative features a mini-caravan, an e-plane, an e-motorbike, and a water e-bike, emphasizing the versatility of the Renault 4 E-Tech. These pioneering vehicles are designed to open up new possibilities for sustainable mobility. Following the success of last year’s “5 movements” program centered around the Renault 5 E-Tech, Renault is unveiling this new initiative at the Paris Motor Show from October 14 to 20.

Renault’s presence at the Motor Show includes two stands: one in Hall 6 for the general brand showcase and another in Hall 5 dedicated to the 4 E-Tech and its complementary e-mobility solutions. Visitors can experience a fully immersive presentation featuring the Renault 4 E-Tech alongside the four innovative French transport options, all set to inspire dreams of adventure across land, sea, and air.

The exhibits will be adorned in Cloud Blue, reminiscent of the first Renault 4 introduced in 1962, and feature denim-effect upholstery with headlamp designs echoing the classic model. This futuristic stand, complete with sleek lines and ambient lighting, highlights the collaboration between Renault and its start-up partners.

Arnaud Belloni, Global Chief Marketing Officer for Renault, expressed pride in this initiative, stating, “We are excited to partner with four French start-ups to showcase how e-mobility has evolved to include various transport forms, including the iconic Renault 4.”

The “4 movements” initiative is part of Renault’s broader strategy to collaborate with innovative French firms, aiming to create a sustainable ecosystem for future mobility. Each of the showcased vehicles will be available for pre-order during the show, with plans for small-scale production starting next spring, aligning with the launch of the Renault 4 E-Tech.

Featured partners include Aura Aero, which develops eco-sustainable aircraft; Carapate Aventure, known for its retro-inspired mini-caravans; Ateliers HeritageBike, specializing in high-end electric bikes and motorbikes; and Searider, which offers cutting-edge water e-bikes. Together, these French start-ups embody the future of mobility that Renault aims to foster.
