Goodwood has announced that Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA will bring its 2025 World Endurance Championship (WEC) racer will appear at its 82nd Members’ Meeting.
One of the team’s two cars, the V-Series.R LMDh will compete in high-speed demonstration laps. It would be the first time that a current WEC Hypercar will run on the circuit at Goodwood.
The 82nd Members’ Meeting will also be the car’s European debut after its first race of the season in Qatar in February. 2025 will be a year of new beginnings for JOTA Sport, the British team competing at the WEC as partners of American car maker, Cadillac.
This year, JOTA Sport will celebrate its 25th anniversary and 20 years of racing at Le Mans. To mark the occasion, it will send some of its most iconic cars to the Silverstone Museum, but not before they make a pit stop at Goodwood where they will be on display in the paddocks. The line-up will include Le Mans class winners, as well as one of the team’s Porsche 963 LMDhs which ran at La Sarthe in 2024 with Jenson Button, Phil Hanson and Oliver Rasmussen and Callum Ilott, Norman Nato, and Will Stevens taking turns behind the wheel.
“We have a lot of fun at the Members’ Meeting, showcasing the breadth of motorsport,” The Duke of Richmond CBE DL. “I’m delighted that our guests will see the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R LMDh in action – the first time a current car from the highest level of sportscar racing will have lapped the Motor Circuit since it closed in the sixties.”
The Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA demonstration joins the previously announced GT3 Shoot-Out and all-sustainable fuel race list including the new Win Percy Trophy.
