Garden competition in W6, £100 voucher to win
Residents in W6 who are proud of their front garden could enter to win a £100 voucher in the new Hammersmith Front Gardens Competition. The competition, run by the H&F Historic Buildings Group, was “devised to encourage residents to make the most of front gardens, window boxes and street tree pits.”
Prizes have been donated by the W6 Garden Centre as well as the botanical café in Ravenscourt Avenue, close to Ravenscourt Park tube.
“We wanted everyone to have an opportunity to make Hammersmith even more beautiful by planting your front garden, window box or street tree pit,” Annabel Clarke, chair of the H&F Historic Buildings Group, said.
Anyone who lives in a W6 postcode can enter for free. Along with the £100 first prize, there are also runners-up prizes of £50 and £25 in vouchers.
To enter, all you have to do is email a photo, and your address, to gardeninghbg@gmail.com or post to 42 Greenside Road, W12 9JG, by 1st June 2025. Judges will view all entries in person.
